As a musician, writer, artist, and human, I’ve realized... the unfortunate temptation, when seeing someone who’s good at something you’re not, is the temptation to assume it comes “naturally” to them.

As I was going through my Papa’s desk a couple of weeks ago, I found a stack of letters, never sent, never opened. That changed the way I’ll prioritize relationships and music for the rest of my life.
