A Different Perspective with Berni Dymet

In this world we learn pretty quickly that winning is good, losing is bad. Fair enough. But sometimes winning is losing and losing is winning. That’s actually what Jesus said. He meant it in every part of our lives - and He particularly meant it, when it comes to money. Our Money, a touchy subject. We would love sometimes to have a foot in both camps ? God and money. But it doesn’t work because it’s like being a dog with two masters. One says sit, the other says come ? which one is the dog going to obey. Either one, or the other. Turns out, you can’t serve them both. Jesus said some terribly inconvenient things about money. Truly He did ? things that for the most, we’d rather not hear. But as He invariably does, He puts His finger right on the spot, right on the problem that so many have with money ? and not just the problem. He has a solution ? because what He wants is not so much our money, but our hearts. Join Berni Dymet ? as he takes a money matters, from a different perspective.

Money’s a great servant but a brutal master. Wealth is enticing, so it’s easy to be seduced and before we know it ? we’re slaves to it. But it was never meant to be that way. Money ? or wealth - was never meant to be our master. Instead, what you and I are called to do, is to exercise mastery over money. Money as it turns out is a pretty good servant, but a brutal master. So many people chase so hard after wealth that instead of money serving them, they end up becoming slaves to it. That which promised so much, instead becomes the source of much pain. It’s not what we expected, It’s just what happens. Join Berni Dymet ? as he takes a money matters, from a different perspective.

You’ve perhaps heard it said that money is the root of all evil. It comes from the Bible. But actually that’s not what it says. It says that the love of money is the root of all evil. That’s quite a different thing. It turns out that our attitude towards money, rather than money per se ? can be quite a problem in our lives.
