A Different Perspective with Berni Dymet

Rekindling the flame in our hearts to be who God made us to be, to do what God made us to do. Each one of us has something that we’re good at; something we enjoy doing; some God-given gift or ability that we do well at, naturally. But all too often, it gets buried under years of neglect, & so many, many people live their lives, without ever living out their dreams. What if God never meant for that to happen?

We each have a special gift or ability that God’s given us & that’s unique to us. Often we have a dream for using it & sometimes it doesn’t quite happen. Somehow this special gift or ability, just ends up being ordinary, without much of an impact in this world. Ever wondered why that is?

It never ceases to amaze how we manage to rework God’s Word to suit ourselves, to make it say what we want it to say. People argue about all sorts of things that if we were honest are plainly obvious. There is one way, one truth, plain and simple and it’s like a firm foundation beneath our feet.

The world is pretty clear in telling us what success looks like and since for most of us, our idea of success is more informed by our culture than God’s Word - we’re kind of immersed in it. Living our lives for God though often means that in the world’s eyes we look anything but successful - and some of u are ashamed of that.
