This week we’re diving into a different pool as we talk business, taking risks, self improvement and getting after it with our friend, Mr. Steve Warton.
A late bloomer in the world of academia and business in general, Steve’s path was far from a straight line to success. Without a clear vision of what he wanted to do and far from a natural student, Steve tried uni and a few jobs he enjoy enough, but it wasn’t until meeting a now good friend and business partner, Matt Clark, that he really found his place.
Armed with a crane, a bit of faith and a ‘get after it’ attitude, these boys from the country rolled up their sleeves; bootstrapping their business from a small operation picking up work they could get, to becoming one of Melbourne’s leading crane company.
Join us as for an insightful hour as we learn more about growing a business, building success and great culture, finding balance between work, life and family, and “squeezing the brain" with Mr. Steve Warton.

Our next guest not only currently boasts near on 100,000 followers across his football Facebook Pages, NT Football and Local Footy Classics, but is also recognised across the country for one amazing football pilgrimage for mental health in 2017, we welcome Mr. Jackson Clark.
Born and raised in Darwin, the Northern Territory native was born a football fanatic. A promising player himself, Jackson found a second, and complimentary passion; writing as the football correspondant with local newspapers from the ripe old age of 13. Launching his NT Football with Jackson Clark in 2011, he’s become the leading source for NT football news and known Australia wide.
With his massive following, Jackson was approached in 2017 to be an ambassador for non-for-profit charity, Livin. Not one to just throw on a slogan covered tee and call it job done, he instead took to the road as part of his ‘Kicking the Stigma’ project, playing one game per week at a different club, in a different state right around the country, taking his hashtag and message of #ItAintWeakToSpeak with him. A huge success supported by clubs, AFL stars (including Tom Rockliffe & Matthew Lobbe) and nation-wide media alike.
We look forward to sharing our this enlightening and entertaining dive into the mind with the authentic, the adventurous, the passionate Mr. Jackson Clark.

This week we welcome former Essendon Bomber Mr. Kyle Reimers, as we find out little more about the man behind the boots and bravado, and a professional AFL career beyond his wildest imagination.
Through a challenging childhood in Bunbury, WA, Kyle found solace in sport, especially Aussie Rules. Overcoming crushing self-doubt to participate at the highest level through his junior year, Kyle would find his way to the Bombers via the 2006 AFL Draft where he would ultimately finish his days touted by many as the catalyst of the Essendon demise (incorrectly and unfairly, we must say!) amidst the supplement saga of the mid 2010s.
Kyle talks us through his rollercoaster of a journey as a professional athlete: the joy in playing his favourite opponent, Carlton (a club he almost joined), and that bag of 8 goals against the Suns, to injuries, setbacks and the double-edged sword of a me-against-the-world attitude; the devastating fallout from the Essendon supplement saga and his journey back to good health and happiness.
Please join us for an honest and enthralling dive with “the most extraverted introvert you’ll ever see”, Mr. Kyle Reimers.

While he may not be a household name in Australia, our next guest is a world-class cricketing talent who has played, coached and worked with some of the games biggest names. He’s also one of the nicest and most positive guys you could meet, Mr Dulip Samaresekera.
Despite a challenging childhood in Sri Lanka, losing his father at just 4, Dulip became one of the country’s brightest young prospects. With limited financial opportunities in the game at that time, even for a gifted youngster who'd broken into the national U19 team, Dulip made the tough decision to pack up his kitbag and follow his passion, wherever it would lead him.
Dulip shares his journey, from arriving in Australia at the ripe old age of 19 and collecting plenty of silverware and personal accolades to pursuing a new version of his cricketing dream – coaching.
His eternal passion for the game, curiosity, confidence, infectious positivity and attitude of not only facing life's biggest challenges but seeking them out mean Dulip's best sporting chapters may truly just be beginning. We can't wait to share this one.

Listeners will be more than familiar with this week's guests, the soundtrack to our podcast and rocking brothers, Brett and Greg Dunbar of These Things.
Together with drummer Adrian Jones, the band formed over a decade ago under their original moniker, The Yard Apes, although the seeds were planted long before as youngsters after discovering Metallica, guitars and a creative itch.
Fast forward a few years, three albums and thousands of kilometres later, it was great to sit down with the guys for an encapsulating hour of stories and insights. From chasing passions and following your own path, to the ebb-and-flow of creativity and inspiration in the COVID era, grappling with a name change, advice from musical-hero and friend, Eddie Spaghetti (yes, the Eddie Spaghetti of Supersuckers), onstage antics and flicking the switch between musician and entertainer, and the music that has and continues to influence them (little tip - bring your notepad).

We couldn’t be more excited to present this week’s guest, Aria Award winner, tongue-in-cheek Best-Selling Author, and soundtrack to countless memories, Lior.
After bursting onto the Australian music scene with the hauntingly beautiful “This Old Love”, Lior became an overnight success, years in the making. Not so much the gifted child prodigy as your typical tennis-racket-strumming kid (with perhaps more enthusiasm than talent, as his choir teacher would politely point out) he would go on to hone his craft with persistence, resilience, focus and a full heart.
An incredibly diverse talent, Lior shies away from few artistic challenges and shares his incredible story. Mediterranean memories, the struggling artist, the break-out moment, Giggle and Hoot, collaboration, one surreal Police encounter and creating an award-winning show performed entirely in Hebrew and Arabic under the roof of the Sydney Opera House, please join us for a very entertaining hour with Lior.
Check out more from Lior through his website, Facebook, or Instagram

Mark shares his passionate pursuit, quickly climbing through the classes and ranks, chasing opportunities at home and abroad before arriving on the grid of V8 Supercars. From the physical and mental preparation for a race like Bathurst to the pressures of racing clocks and cars, and getting behind the wheel of some of the most powerful and iconic machines on the planet.
