Stellavera Kilcher was born and raised in the Alaskan wilderness. She grew up living off the land as one of the eight children of Ruth and Yule Kilcher, whose legacy has continued most recently in the family’s hit TV reality show “Alaska: the Last Frontier” on Discovery.  

Stellavera also is a Certified Maharishi Ayurveda consultant as well as a Maharishi yoga Asana instructor, Marma therapist and Cranio Sacral therapist.  Traveling around the globe since the age of 18, Stellavera’s goal has been to help others develop their full potential, using the various modalities to address all issues that might plague a person’s ability to lead a happy healthy life.  

Her varied skill sets also include being a singer-songwriter, renovation project manager and event coordinator. She currently lives part time in her yurt on the Kilcher Homestead in Homer Alaska and part time in Fairfield Iowa, where her husband Dr. Michael Olmstead is a professor of anatomy and physiology at the fully accredited Maharishi international University, which boasts the only US certified degree program in Ayurveda and integrative medicine.

Robin Richardson was born and raised in Alaska with family employed at Reeve, Cordova Air, Mark Air, Wien, etc. Travelled extensively while growing up up/down Aleutian Chain, Kodiak, Cordova, as well as overseas marketing Alaska as tour/business destination.

Local economist planted the seed in her mind in 1968 that Alaska’s seafood industry was not directly benefiting Alaska the way it could and/or should. Re-discovered seafood industry in late 80’s while attending fishing conference in Naknek, AK and given walk through by Dan O’Hara, Adelheid Hermann and Harvey Samuelson.

That was it. Her purpose was cast in stone to pursue the supply chain of food and when it intersected it with health and environment, it naturally became her passion.

Robin is the Advocist/Facilitator for Global Food Collaborative (GFC).

GFC is a collaborative of professionals in health and food businesses that are coming together to increase our individual and collective momentum on preventative health and reversal of chronic disease in concert with our natural world. Think of it as an integrated B2B supply chain.

She was the Chief Business Development Officer of Copper River Seafoods and Executive Director of World Trade Center Alaska.

Dashiell (Dash) Kuhr, founder and director of Hawai'i Institute of Pacific Agriculture (HIP Agriculture), is the lead facilitator for the organization, and personally dedicated to the restoration of human and environmental health.

Dash has educated and mentored hundreds of youth and young adults on the benefits of healthy eating and hands-on gardening skills. Working with non-profit organizations, food cooperatives and farms, Dash has lead and developed numerous gardening and sustainability initiatives.

Dash apprenticed under master permaculture designer Tom Baldwin (who studied directly with Bill Mollison, Geoff Laton, and Bullock brothers) for three years, as a farm manager, managing one of the most diverse and well designed permaculture farms on Hawaii Island. He received his Permaculture Design Certificate from Geoff Lawton and attended a Permaculture Convergence at Uluwehi Farm and Nursery.

Currently, Dash leads Living Farm Internship courses and youth program development at HIP Agriculture, while also conducting professional permaculture design work and installations. Current projects included installation of 60 dwarf coconuts and 300 bananas in polyculture systems and permaculture design for a 120 acre food production and reforestation project at Inhabit Hawai’i.

Rooted in North Kohala, Hawai'i, Dash is dedicated to creating a post-carbon civilization that is able to thrive while reforesting and revitalizing the landscape. Dash is thoroughly committed to youth and ensuring they have access to fresh food and land, food sovereignty, Earth justice, and a localized economy that creates peaceful and happy communities.

Dash, with his wife Erika and three beautiful children Cyrus, Jyoti and Kumari are advocates of healthy eating, exercise, and Ayurvedic medicine. He enjoys gardening, swimming, surfing, yoga, and family time.

Sharon Sauer has practiced Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy since 1984 when she graduated from the Bonnie Prudden School of Physical Fitness. Sharon also interned with the physicians who conducted the basic research on which the field is based. These included Dr. Andrew Fischer, Dr. David Simons and Dr. Janet Travell, the first woman to serve as Physician to the President (John F. Kennedy).  

Sharon co-authored a book published in the US, Korea and Japan entitled Trigger Point Therapy for Low Back Pain, which can be purchased through her website, www.myopain.com. Sharon can be reached at [email protected].

Dr Natasha Campbell-McBride graduated with Honours as a Medical Doctor in 1984 from Bashkir Medical University in Russia. In the following years she gained a Postgraduate MMedSci Degree in Neurology.  After practising for five years as a Neurologist and three years as a Neurosurgeon she started a family and moved to the UK. Fairly shortly after that her son was diagnosed autistic, which prompted an intensive study into causes and treatments of autism. It was during this time that Dr Campbell-McBride developed her theories on the relationship between neurological disorders and nutrition, and completed a second Postgraduate Degree in Human Nutrition at Sheffield University, UK. She practiced in the UK as a nutritionist and not as a medical doctor.  

Dr Campbell-McBride used to run the Cambridge Nutrition Clinic. Having trained thousands of Certified GAPS Practitioners around the world, Dr Natasha has closed her clinic in order to focus on writing and teaching. As a nutritionist she has specialised in using nutritional approach as a treatment, and has become recognised as one of the world's leading experts in treating children and adults with learning disabilities and other mental disorders, as well as children and adults with digestive and immune disorders.  

In 2004 she has published her first book Gut And Psychology Syndrome. Natural Treatment Of Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Depression And Schizophrenia where she explores the connection between the patient's physical state and brain function. A second edition of this book came out in 2010. The book gives full details of the GAPS Nutritional Protocol, highly successful in treating patients with learning disabilities and other mental problems. Since the publication of this book GAPS has become a global movement.
