Living Well with PMDD

A Duty You Have To Your Child

Listen Later

Today we discuss the duty we have TO LIVE... especially in relation to showing our children one way to live right now.

Take Aways
What we do matters, but us DOING and ENGAGING in life matters more.
It's easy to get caught up in, "Am I doing what's right for my child?"
We don't get to decide what lesson our children learn and in what manner they learn them.
A poor example may teach them better than an amazing example.
Be sure to live!
Our children will make judgements based on us and interactions with us.
Believe that your child will gain the experience they need to learn the lessons they need.
Recognizing our duty to live is powerful to you (the parent) because... it means there isn't a way to get it "right" (they'll learn either way), it lifts the pressure of of you, and it can be inspiring rather than disheartening when we fall short of a personal expectation.
Loving them is the most important thing.
