"I pray that you would be one." This is the Lords Prayer, the one Jesus prayed over us. His desire is that we would know the same intimacy He knew with our Father and Holy Spirit.

This message was given at The Reformers Gathering in 2019 at The Gate Church in Charlotte NC. This message is an invitation into the reformation Jesus started 2000 years ago, it is an invitation into oneness with Christ.

This is the very first word Jason gave at Newsong Church (at the time Ardent Faith). Jason shared his life's message of growing sure in our Father's love.

Our Heavenly Father is always good and doesn't desire desperate kids. Any relationship where kids are desperate for their Father is dysfunctional. Jesus revealed what it looks like to live sure as a loved son of our Father and gave us access to this same sureness.

"When we walk in a revelation of our Father's love, even the hard stuff is easy." Love is measureless and it trumps every need.

Jason shares stories from his life on walking in friendship with God our Father.

"I no longer call you servant, I call you friend." This is the invitation Jesus gave us. There is no servant master language in heaven. Obedience is the invitation to discover his Gid's heart until ours beats in rhythm with His.  Jason, through the story of Abraham offering Issac as a sacrifice, highlights how God transforms out thinking through testing that we might truly see Him for who He. Thereby having access to intimacy in ways we could have never experienced before.

Jason focuses on the power of an encounter with God's love and the impact thankfulness has on our lives. The message was taken from Luke 17:11-19

 "Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, "Jesus, Master, have pity on us!"

When he saw them, he said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were cleansed.

 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.

Jesus asked, "Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?" Then he said to him, "Rise and go; your faith has made you well."

"In Oct I visited with my good friend Scott Crowder and DreamHouse Church in Newport News VA. This church family has become a home away from home and this was my 7th visit in nine years.

On this Sunday Scott asked if I would speak on the particular scripture from that week's Lectionary, the 2019 liturgical calendar which DreamHouse has been following this year.

I was honored to dive into the family story of DreamHouse for this year. Luke 17:11-19 was read before I got up to speak.

While God placed us in a world defined by measurements, He breathed His Spirit, the measureless revelation of love, into us.
