An almost forgotten 2019 report has revealed the capacity for Perth to develop its own ferry-based public transport system.

As reported on by WAtoday, the Department of Transport's 2019 Ferry Service Current Status and Future Use report identified a total of 56 potential sites for ferry stops along the Swan and Canning rivers, which could potentially open up transport systems around the city and alleviate traffic.
