Psalm 37 can be called a wisdom psalm because it reflects on themes normally dealt with in the Bible’s Wisdom Literature, particularly in Proverbs. It addresses the issue of why godless people often prosper. It shows that it really is better to stay loyal to the Lord. Because in his own good time, the Lord will make a clear distinction between the godless and the faithful. Meanwhile, the faithful must wait patiently.

Here in this 54th of Isaiah, we read where God has made a covenant of peace with Israel, he says that those that come against you he will handle them no matter how powerful or mighty they seem.

Jesus shows us in Luke 18:1 a parable of widow woman that persistent in going to a judge to get justice and the unjust judge granted her the request because she was persistent in her asking. The same with you and I don't lose heart when you are praying trust God even when you don't know what to do.

Isaiah encourages Israel to move forward as God brings them out of captivity back to the promised land

As we read 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 we hear the prayer of Jabez, we hear his request to God, he has 4 items of request to God. What was the success of Jabez’s prayer? God granted him his request.

As we that a look at Matthews's gospel the sixteenth chapter, we find here in the 13th through the 17th verses that Jesus asks his disciples 1. Who do the people say I am and who do you say I am? That is the question asked of us who is Jesus to you?

As we read Hebrews 11th chapter particularly verse 1 this is not a definition of faith, but a description of what faith does.

Faith is a settled confidence that something in the future something that God promised will actually happen because God will make it happen.

As we navigate through this 16th chapter of Proverbs we see how the limitation of man and the sovereignty of God come into play in our everyday lives. Trusting God is an everyday lifestyle that we must adapt to as a believer and follower of Jesus Christ

As we look at Psalm 37 we read where God tells us not to fret over or be envious of an evildoer because He’ll take care of them. But He wants us to have an heart's desire for Him and His ways, and He’ll grant us our desire, because it is based on Him.

As we read the book of Isaiah we can understand that Isaiah is talking to all of Israel's Northern and Southern Kingdoms, although he was called as a prophet to the southern kingdom here he speaks to Israel as a whole. Isaiah is a good study to see how God raised up a non-Israelite king Cyrus to set his people free from the bondage of captivity.
