Hello everyone, and welcome back to season 2 of the BITEsize Paediatric podcast!
This season is hosted by Yasmin (BDS3) and Chloe (BDS2) - dental students from the University of Manchester.
Our first episode features Dr. Fionnuala Loy - a paediatric dentistry registrar. She completed DCT1 in paediatric dentistry, oral surgery and orthodontics at Manchester Dental Hospital as well as DCT 2 in restorative dentistry at Manchester followed by Maxfax at Royal Preston Hospital. She then worked as a specialty dentist in Leeds Dental Institute before starting her post as a registrar in paediatric dentistry at Birmingham Dental hospital.

- What are DCT rotations like?
- How are these different rotations relevant to paediatric dentistry?
- Why is there a stark lack of paediatric specialists?
