Hello everyone, and welcome back to the BITEsize Paediatric podcast!

Today we are joined by Dr Jeanette Mooney at the Regional Cleft Network (based at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital). Dr Mooney qualified as a dental therapist in 1980. She has gained many post qualifications including oral health promotion, conscious sedation and a PhD examining provision oral health programmes for parents of children born with a cleft.

December 04, 2021 A First-Hand Account of the Paediatric Training Pathway (UK)
Hello everyone, and welcome back to season 2 of the BITEsize Paediatric podcast!

Our first episode features Dr. Fionnuala Loy - a paediatric dentistry registrar. July 08, 2021 What on Earth is MIH?!
Molar Incisor Hypomineralisation is more than just a mouthful to say - it is a dental condition that affects around 1 in 5 people in the UK! This condition can significantly affect a child's quality of life, however, not many members of the public (and dentists) know about it.
We were lucky enough to interview Dr Judi Humphreys, a Paediatric Specialist based at the University of Liverpool, about this condition. She has dedicated her postdoctorate research to the management of MIH, and is looking to improve clinical guidelines. This episode acts as a nice summary of all that is MIH, including diagnosis, treatment, and causes.
