I’ve been feeling deeply called to dive into the question: What does awakening really mean?

What does it mean to truly wake up in our lives? It’s a journey that calls to us in unique ways—through the challenges we face, the quiet moments of self-reflection, and the times we question our own path.

So, what does awakening look like? For some, it’s a shift from the familiar routine to something that feels aligned with their heart. For others, it’s the experience of loss or unexpected life events that push us to see life through a new lens. However it unfolds, awakening is deeply personal and beautifully unique. It’s a process of rediscovering and celebrating our true selves.

In moments of reflection, we reconnect with our essence—our true nature. We’re reminded that we are part of a cycle, just like the seasons. Awakening means embracing the highs, the lows, and the inner callings that make us who we are. It’s about honoring our uniqueness, learning to listen, and trusting the music within.

No matter where you are in your journey, know that you’re not alone. Many of us are waking up to our own truths, unlearning what no longer serves us, and leaning into what feels real. I’m grateful to be on this journey with you, and I hope today’s message reminds you of the beauty of your own path.

In today’s podcast episode, we’re exploring what it means to heal your inner child and why now is the time to feed your creative soul.

Are you feeling it? The change and big transformations going on in your life?

When we go through this amount of change, it can make life feel pretty serious. Heavy even. In the midst of great change, it’s good to laugh more, breath deeply and connect with like-hearted people so you can lighten your load.

This month is going so fast - action packed for so many. It’s an important time to take more pauses and notice what needs your attention in your life right now.

You are not alone, even though it feels like it sometimes.

Your path is a winding road, and it’s hard when we don’t know where it’s taking us. That’s also the adventure of life. This adventure is calling us to heal, learn, grow and evolve. It’s waking us up so we can remember and reconnect with our authentic essence - our truest nature.

You are on a sacred self-discovery journey of waking up.

It’s ok that it feels messy, confusing, unknown and even out of control.

We are learning the art of surrender, letting go and allowing our path to unfold. Not super easy, but with a perspective shift we can face life’s challenges with greater curiosity, wonder and an openness. This helps us experience a sense of ease and grace as we navigate change. That is the practice of receiving and allowing.

Our ego may have tantrums, gripping to the past and holding on for dear life. But we’ve been there. We know that life well - stuck in a state of survival mode and just trying to make it through. We’re done with just getting by.

The changes happening in your relationships, your career, your family and personal life, your health - it’s all here to teach you what you no longer need, to show you how far you’ve come, and to make space for the new to flourish.

It’s time to build a stronger foundation in your life. It’s time to honor your divine feminine and integrate it with mindful action.

Intuition, creativity, nurturing yourself, honoring your energy, prioritizing joy and making empowered choices in alignment with your authenticity are your greatest tools and best teachers at this time.

Exploring and healing your inner child and feeding your creative soul go hand-in-hand. We’ll explore these topics and so much more in this podcast episode.

One of the most common questions I have received lately is this:

“How can I calm my nerves and cope with the anxiety or grief I’m feeling right now?”

Change is in the air.

I’ve talked to so many people recently who are experiencing this: life as they know it is changing. It feels messy, chaotic and a bit unnerving.

Although a lot of the transition people are going through wouldn’t necessarily have been something they would have chosen on their own, there is also a bit of intrigue and even inspiration happening.

When going through change, we don’t know where it’s going to lead. It often feels confusing, because our 3D mind wants to know and have everything figured out!

Transformation isn’t always easy, but here’s one thing I know from personal experience, it certainly teaches us what we’re made of. Going through a big transformation reminds us how dang powerful we really are. (It also reminds us that our lives are a series of change.)

If you find yourself waking up and not recognizing your life, or knowing things need to change and aren’t sure what to do, you are in a place on your transformation journey that is showing you what is out of alignment, so you can get clear about your next steps moving forward.

Trust where you are on your path. Trust that you are being supported, one breath, one step and one moment at a time.

Creating a life that is in alignment with your authentic self and your natural rhythm, takes patience, commitment and space is needed to experiment and explore, so you can get in touch with what you really need. Making changes in life, either by choice or by force, pushes you closer to living more in alignment with your true self - and that, in the end is always worth it.

Every day offers us a new moment - a fresh clean slate - to be who we’re meant to be so we can choose steps that support our highest path moving forward.

Sometimes the best way to navigate and move through change is to practice living in the present moment. When you learn how to live in this moment and take care of yourself on your sacred self-discovery practice, you learn how to clear out the negative thoughts, you learn how to let go of the past and surrender to this moment. You learn how to be here in this now moment.

When you practice being present, you can manage overwhelm during tender times of change. You can move through your day without being so bogged down by the past or hindered by your limiting thoughts.

Going through change will open your heart and expand your awareness. It will bust through the shadows and help you shine brighter than you ever have in your life.

Be gentle with yourself as you go through change.

In today's podcast episode 80, let's dive into the truth of who you are - it's pure magic!

Let me start by saying, “I love you.” I remember a time several years ago when I was writing content for my website. I wanted to use the word "love," but one of my editors advised against it. I listened, but it didn't sit right with me at the time.

As agents of change in the world, love forms a significant part of what we're here to share. I see it as one of the shifting paradigms. We are longing for a more conscious world - a place in tune with unconditional love, where we freely exchange that love frequency with each other, even within the business and entrepreneurial world.

What happens as we begin to awaken? We start to feel love on a greater scale - for ourselves, our inner child, our past, nature, animals, family, even those who've caused us pain, and humanity as a whole.

It's as if our hearts expand, allowing us to experience emotions we've previously suppressed.

Through experiencing more love, we're guided to navigate life by feeling in a deeper way.

In allowing ourselves to feel, we open the door to healing and create space for more love. The more love we invite into our lives, the more inner peace and outer harmony we can see in life.

Maybe we've been conditioned to resist our natural rhythms and have lost sight of our soul's imprint. Yet, in our awakening process, we remember and reconnect with our soul's essence. It's always been there, obscured by the societal constructs dictating who we should be.

Are you content to continue living up to others' expectations, or are you ready to move down a new path? The new may be unfamiliar and even feel scary, but deep down, you know it's right.

The unknown path feels less daunting when we allow love to lead the way. It can even feel energizing and magical!

Waking up means remembering who you truly are meant to be in this lifetime and how you want to feel while living it.

As my son says, "I don't know what life is for, but I sure love living it."

Sometimes, amidst life's complexities, we forget to truly LIVE. The living part is where the magic happens. We'll explore this and more in today’s episode.

Hello there!In this new podcast episode 77: Focusing on Your Healing Journey, I’m sharing another vulnerable story about applying for a job and not getting hired.

Part of my karma in life is learning how to heal from rejection, not feeling seen and creative insecurities. I talk about this and more in today’s episode.

Amid life's frenetic pace, we often overlook celebrating our small victories and moments of courage. Yet, it's these instances of vulnerability and healthy risk-taking that deserve recognition and appreciation.

As we navigate our individual paths, it's important to honor our energy. Energy has a weight to it, from the lightness of alignment to the burdens of karma, as we strive to release past wounds and insecurities. Take some time this week to reflect and focus on the light or dense energy you feel in your life. What is it teaching you? How is that energy helping you on your healing journey?

Embrace the opportunities and challenges that come your way, discerning what no longer serves your highest purpose. By aligning with your heart, body, mind, and soul, you will continue to expand and unlock a true sense of purpose and joy.

Hi there!

I’m sharing a personal story today on the podcast about how following my heart hasn’t always been easy, and how even just yesterday I was triggered by something a loved one said to me. It brought up anger. And I realized I had to make space to honor that anger.

In making space to honor our feelings, we make space for healing.

Also, when we are on the verge of a shift, something big and great happening, or about to make progress or experience momentum, the Universe and the people in our lives often test us.

When we don’t have that challenge, tension or pressure, we tend to stay so comfortable that we stop growing. But the challenges we face aren’t easy and usually not welcome in the moment!

When we get to a place where something big is about to happen, something often comes along that feels as though it’s derailing us. We often feel in those moments we should just give up or quit.

I had a moment yesterday that made me feel like quitting. But as you’ll hear in this new episode, after releasing my anger, reflecting on it and having a good night’s sleep, I see now that the triggering moment is helping me step more fully into my power and is propelling me to keep showing up for my dreams.

My inspiration for you today is don’t give up. Remember the challenges you face are here to help you grow beyond your wildest dreams.

The shift is here. You are changing. Your life is changing. The world is changing.

Change can bring up fear, but remember what the flip side of fear is…PASSION. When you feel the fear coming up as you dream big and see your life changing, look at that fear as energy. Releasing that energy and looking through the lens of curiosity will help you break the pattern, so you can heal from that lesson and move forward.

You may be noticing some repeat patterns or cycles coming up to the surface in your life right now. Make space to honor your feelings. Release them. Learn from them.

And…do not give up on your dreams. SHOW UP for your life today with love.

You matter. Your dreams matter. And new beginnings are on the horizon.

I’m excited to be back on the podcast! I like to go into my creative cave in the winter and am now feeling the nudge from the upcoming Spring energy that it’s time to emerge. :)

As we are hitting March 2024, there is a new energy shift happening. Can you feel it? Maybe you feel it as people and things in your life don’t “fit” anymore. Maybe you feel it as you can’t put up with that irritating stuff you used to. Maybe you feel it as an electrical charge, propelling you to make changes in your life and move forward.

Spring symbolizes new beginnings and there is definitely new energy here to help us make some changes.

This is a good time to observe where you put your energy and what you focus on in the day.

Are you giving energy to your inner critic? Do you tend to blame others for the state of your life? Are you focusing on healing, growth and ways to manifest your wildest dreams?

What you focus on and where you put your energy matters.

This time we are in right now is one for the books. You might hear this time being referred to as the New Earth, 5D Consciousness, The Age of Aquarius or the Creative Revolution. Whatever we call it, we know we can feel that greater change is on the horizon in our personal lives and in the world.

We are waking up to our truer selves - to a more love-filled life, rather than staying stuck rooted in survival mode.

We know what it feels like when we’re just getting by. We are feeling really done with that kind of living. We want to live in alignment with our true self and in union with our true purpose so we enjoy greater flow, ease and harmony.

It starts by loving yourself and paying attention to what you focus on.

Ask yourself: Where is my authentic self guiding me to go next on my path?
