[41] And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong." [42] Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom." [43] And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."

• The past and present does not define the future.
• There is power and authority in speaking out from a place of honesty.

I’m I Prepared?

• Ready to do or deal with 

1. Being born again alone is not enough - Paul said ‘’work out your own salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12).
2. Having faith alone is not enough - James said ‘’faith without works is dead (James 2:26)’’

Ezra 7:6 NKJV

this Ezra came up from Babylon; and he was a skilled scribe in the Law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given. The king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him.

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel.

After I speak

• A lot of believers have mastered the church talk (I am favored, I am blessed, I’m walking in miracles, I cannot fail, I am more than a conqueror, etc).

• Christian talk seems ineffective because most do it out of excitement and not full understanding - Matthew 13:20-21 “As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away.”

• We are quick to speak the promises of God from scripture; yet when things go south we are sometimes the first to go the opposite direction. 

• What happens when what you spoke has not happened and you then face the same people you spoke with?

Ezra 8:21-23 NKJV

Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from Him the right way for us and our little ones and all our possessions. [22] For I was ashamed to request of the king an escort of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the road, because we had spoken to the king, saying, "The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are against all those who forsake Him." [23] So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer.

Sunday 01/03/2026 - Do not complicate prayer

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

‭‭ “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.”

• Authentic prayer is about knowledge of what you’re doing, plus understanding what and who you have access to. 

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭26‬-‭27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”

What the eyes see

Aside from vision, ability to see what is in front of us, the eyes are meant to serve a greater purpose for mankind. 

With the eyes you can see:

1. Faith
2. Joy
3. Victory
4. Favor
5. Opportunity 

Acts 14:8-10 NKJV

And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother's womb, who had never walked. [9] This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, [10] said with a loud voice, "Stand up straight on your feet!" And he leaped and walked.

• Works of wickedness and being distant from God can blind our vision as children of God

Romans 11:7-8 NLT

So this is the situation: Most of the people of Israel have not found the favor of God they are looking for so earnestly. A few have-the ones God has chosen-but the hearts of the rest were hardened. [8] As the Scriptures say, "God has put them into a deep sleep. To this day he has shut their eyes so they do not see, and closed their ears so they do not hear."

Compass - a devise that shows the cardinal directions used for navigation and geographic orientation.

• In life it easy to think we’ve got it and are moving in the right direction until we hit a brick wall.
• Small wins can block our vision from seeing where we’re meant to be heading.

[17] “Then it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, “Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt.” [18] So God led the people around by way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. And the children of Israel went up in orderly ranks out of the land of Egypt. • Make a decision from today that you will not move in life without God.

“Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people.” And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.” So the Lord said to Moses, “I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name.””

• Walk with confidence and boldness trusting that God will fulfil His word over your life.

• Do not entertain fear of the unknown (maybe / what if / but)

“‘I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.”

Sunday 08/02/2026 - Blame

Assign responsibility on someone or something for a fault or wrong 

Genesis 2:23 NKJV

And Adam said: "This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man."

• As Humans we’re so quick to forget when things do not go our way

Genesis 3:12 NKJV

Then the man said, "The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate."

Hearing Jesus 

• Unless you’re representing yourself, in most cases we’re representing someone, a group, a nation, community, family, organization, entity, etc. 
  

Hearing in Hebrew is Shama; It means to hear, to listen, to give attention, to understand, to submit to, and to obey.

John 4:42 NKJV

Then they said to the woman, "Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world."

• A mistake we make is to hear the person speaking and yet not the Father who has sent the messenger. 
  

• We have pastors, apostles, prophets, evangelists, and teachers of the gospel speaking to us day in & day out, yet we are still the same.

- Ability to do more

Sunday 18/01/2026 - The mystery of trouble (suffering)

• There is no miracle without an issue. So

Embrace the challenge. 

• Your faith is only tested when a challenge appears. 

• Smooth sailing is good and soft life is pleasant.
• However, without battles success is less sweet and history cannot be worth telling.

• Year of miracles with a strong focus on evangelism and soul wining
  

Romans 5:3-5 NKJV

And not only that, but we also glory in (take great pride or joy) tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance (not giving up); [4] and perseverance, character (what makes you stand out/unique); and character, hope (expectation and desire). [5] Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

• Character building and personality shaping is hidden in one’s ability to overcome adversity. 

James 1:1-4 KJV

James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. [2] My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; [3] Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. [4] But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

• Patience : the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

• Anxiety brings nervousness, fear, and panic. 
• Calmness produces confidence, boldness, assurance, clear mind, peace, and faith.
