The COVID-19 pandemic has required nursing faculty to develop creative online strategies to promote higher-order learning with students in mental health courses. Faculty created an innovative approach to learning using videoconferencing, written and video case studies, film analysis, and role play. Students engage with each other by role playing patients with personality disorders at a “Dinner Party.” In this podcast, Janene Jeffery and Kimberly Rosenbaum describe this innovative teaching strategy.
