'A great move': Flight Centre backing Qatar-Virgin merger ahead of pending ACCC approval
Last month, Qatar Airways announced its intention to buy a minority stake in Virgin Australia subject to ACCC approval.
The ACCC's interim authorisation is due to be handed down next week.
One person supporting this merger is Flight Centre Founder Graham 'Skroo' Turner.
Mr Turner told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, " I think the travel industry and the tourism industry concurs."
