Honestly, we loved getting an Ami-focused story again. It’s light and sweet on the surface (ice cream shop antics, Chibiusa doing Chibiusa things), but it’s also quietly emotional because Ami is staring down a real choice: chase an amazing future in Germany, or stay with the friends who’ve become her team and her safe place. We talk about how the episode handles that push and pull, why Ami’s decision hits even if you’re side-eyeing the “give up your dream” angle a little, and how Usagi’s fear of being left behind makes the whole thing feel extra human. Add in the new transformation items, a very suspicious ice cream situation, and Mercury showing up right when it matters, and you’ve got an episode that’s warm, friendship-forward, and surprisingly full of feels for something that starts with ice cream.
