Bryan Fischer here with the Life & Liberty Minute. In a unanimous decision, the Supreme Court shortstopped the homosexual agenda by ruling that Christian foster care agencies cannot be compelled to place children in homosexual households. The Court did this based on the First Amendment, which prohibits the federal government from interfering with the free exercise of religion. Children who are in foster care systems have already experienced severe trauma in their family of origin, and to protect them from further trauma, Christian agencies place them in optimal nurturing environments. And that’s in the home of a man and a woman who are married to each other. Social scientists tell us that children raised in two-parent families do better in 77 out of 80 categories of mental health than children in same sex households. This is a huge win for liberty, the Constitution, and vulnerable children.
