Bryan Fischer here with the Life & Liberty Minute. The Founders called the Second Amendment “the palladium - or protector - of our liberties.” But Joe Biden’s understanding of it is so skewed that he recently said the Amendment quote “limited the type of people who could own a gun, and what type of weapon you could own.” Said the Washington Post, not exactly a charter member of the NRA, “Everything in that statement is wrong.” The Post gave him 4 Pinocchios, the equivalent of their liar, liar, pants on fire award. The truth is that when the Second Amendment was ratified in 1791 there was not one federal law regulating the kind of gun you could own. In fact, privateers even owned their own cannons. All this raises the question: If president Biden could be this wrong about the Second Amendment, what does he have wrong about the rest of the Constitution?
