They are sick up to here with a state government that is controlled by far-left values. My home state of Idaho, by contrast, is one of the most conservative states in the Union. In the regressive part of Oregon, Biden defeated Trump 56-40, but in these freedom-loving counties, Trump received 69-79% of the vote. Moving state boundaries has happened three times in U.S. history - that’s how we got Kentucky, Maine, and West Virginia. Maybe it’s about to happen again. One supporter of the move said liberals ought to support it: “If Oregon really believes in liberal values such as self-determination, the Legislature won’t hold our counties captive against our will.” May their tribe increase.

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Elisha the prophet was trapped in the city of Dothan, surrounded by the horses and chariots and the mighty army of Syria. Elisha’s servant panicked, but Elisha did not. Elisha asked God to open the eyes of his servant so he could see into the unseen world of the Spirit. When his eyes were opened he saw that “the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” The army of God that he couldn’t see was much greater and much more powerful than the army he could see.  

So the point is that no matter what we face, the resources at our disposal are greater and more powerful than any threat that comes at us. So we do not need to be frightened by any fear. We can move forward, right into the teeth of the enemy, because we know that those who are with us are more than those who are with our adversaries.

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Rick Warren is perhaps the most famous Southern Baptist pastor in the world. He wrote the Purpose Driven Life. Well, his church just ordained three women to serve as teaching pastors in his church. In doing so, Warren violated the plain teaching of the word of God. Rick Warren says, “Hey, we’re hip, we’re way cool, we’re cutting edge, we’re ordaining women!” But God says, 1 Timothy 2:12, “I do not permit a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man.” While that may not be woke in today’s culture, God has not called us to be woke but to be faithful to the Word of God. God could hardly have been any clearer. When the Scriptures are opened, to a mixed gender audience, the teaching is to be done by men. So what’ll be, church? Rick Warren or God? I know where I come out on that question. How about you?

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Artur Pawlowski is the pastor of a church in Canada. On Sunday, he was arrested by a SWAT team, hog-tied, and dragged across the pavement. His crime, if you can believe it, was for “inciting” people to attend church. Yes, his crime was incitement - incitement of the worship of Almighty God. Canadian authorities are using COVID as their phony excuse to deprive Pastor Pawlowski of every right he is guaranteed under Canada’s Charter of Liberties and making a mockery of religious liberty. This is a warning shot across the bow of the American church too. Under Democrat leadership, we have already seen medical tyrants prohibit the free exercise of religion. American pastors must obey God rather than man, even if it means risking arrest. So pastor, I ask you, what will you do when they come for you?
