Welcome back! This week, we are diving into a chapter of Jackie's life: her experience battling and surviving Sydenham's Chorea. As she shares her story, we will see real life examples of the benefits of behavior analytic interventions like Functional Communication Training (FCT) or more specifically tools such as American Sign Language (ASL) and Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS). We will also highlight values from our field including interdisciplinary collaboration as well as the importance of maintaining our client's rights and dignity.
