Story Transcript:

Sk: V dedinke na úpätí Tatier, kde sa sneh ešte stále nežne drží na vrcholkoch stromov, sa dvaja priatelia, Miroslav a Jana, rozhodli vyraziť na túru.
En: In the village at the foothills of the Tatry Mountains, where the snow still gently clings to the treetops, two friends, Miroslav and Jana, decided to set out on a hike.

Sk: Miroslav, plný nadšenia pre objavovanie nových chodníkov, našiel jednu zaujímavú trasu na internete, o ktorej si myslel, že ju musia preskúmať.
En: Miroslav, full of enthusiasm for discovering new trails, found an interesting route on the internet and thought they must explore it.

Sk: Jana, trochu opatrnejšia, súhlasila, ale chcela sa uistiť, že to bude bezpečné.
En: Jana, a bit more cautious, agreed but wanted to ensure it would be safe.

Sk: Ráno bolo chladné, ale slnečné.
En: The morning was cold but sunny.

Sk: Obloha bola čistá a nič nenasvedčovalo tomu, že by sa počasie mohlo zmeniť.
En: The sky was clear, and there was no indication that the weather might change.

Sk: "Miroslav, mali by sme skontrolovať predpoveď počasia," navrhla Jana, keď si balili batohy.
En: "Miroslav, we should check the weather forecast," Jana suggested as they packed their backpacks.

Sk: "Neboj sa, Jana, nič sa nestane.
En: "Don't worry, Jana, nothing will happen.

Sk: Len si to užime," usmial sa Miroslav a vyrazili.
En: Let's just enjoy it," Miroslav smiled, and they set off.

Sk: Cesta bola krásna.
En: The path was beautiful.

Sk: Kráčali lesmi, kde slnko presvecovalo cez holé konáre stromov.
En: They walked through forests where the sun shone through the bare branches of the trees.

Sk: Z diaľky počuli zurčanie potoka, ktorý sa začínal prebúdzať zo zimného spánku.
En: In the distance, they heard the murmur of a stream beginning to awaken from its winter slumber.

Sk: Miroslav mal v očiach iskru objaviteľa.
En: Miroslav had the sparkle of an explorer in his eyes.

Sk: Jana, hoci mlčky, sa začínala cítiť nepokojne.
En: Jana, although silent, began to feel uneasy.

Sk: Ako hodiny ubiehali, na oblohu sa začínali nabaľovať šedé mraky.
En: As the hours passed, gray clouds began to gather in the sky.

Sk: Vietor zosilnel a s ním prišla aj nečakaná peľha snehu.
En: The wind picked up, bringing an unexpected flurry of snow.

Sk: Miroslav, aj keď videl, že podmienky nie sú ideálne, chcel pokračovať.
En: Miroslav, even though he saw that the conditions weren't ideal, wanted to continue.

Sk: "Toto sme ešte nezažili, poďme ďalej, len chvíľku!
En: "We haven't experienced this yet, let's go a bit further, just for a moment!"

Sk: " povedal nadšene.
En: he said excitedly.

Sk: Jana, ktorá teraz krčila čelo, nesúhlasila: "Miroslav, toto nie je bezpečné, musíme sa vrátiť!
En: Jana, now frowning, disagreed: "Miroslav, this isn't safe, we need to go back!"

Sk: " Napätie rástlo, každý trval na svojom.
En: The tension grew, each standing their ground.

Sk: Náhle sa búrka zmenila na silný snežný víchor.
En: Suddenly, the storm changed into a strong snowsquall.

Sk: Obaja zamrzli na mieste, sledovali, ako biele vločky zahalujú všetko okolo nich.
En: Both froze in place, watching as white flakes enveloped everything around them.

Sk: Rýchlo našli úkryt pod skalným previsom, chvejúc sa od chladu.
En: They quickly found shelter under a rocky overhang, shivering from the cold.

Sk: V tých chvíľach, keď schúlení pod skalou, spriadali plány, Miroslav si uvedomil, že príroda môže byť nepredvídateľná a treba byť pripravený.
En: In those moments, huddled under the rock, as they made plans, Miroslav realized that nature could be unpredictable and one must be prepared.

Sk: Jana cítila, že občas je dobré byť spontánny, ale bezpečnosť musí mať vždy prioritu.
