LOVE both of these stories and everything I have read from Karen Foley. This was the second time I read Flyboy and I enjoyed it as much the second time as I did the first.
entertaining romantic thrillers
"A Kiss in the Dark." Starpoint Technologies engineer Lacey Delaney designs the Subterranean Advanced Receiver (STAR) for NASA. Over the objection of her "Helicopter" mom who pleads with her to send someone else, Lacey heads to Kentucky to test the GPS device underground. When her car breaks down in a remote area, she meets Cole MacKinnon, who explains he is seeking work in the mines. Cole conceals that he is a Department of Labor undercover engineer looking into unsafe practices. When they become trapped in a cave, he relieves her fears of the dark in a unique way. This Wrong Bed romance stars two fascinating protagonists especially the brilliant but fragile heroine who is a product of her mom's traumatic caused insecurities.
"Flyboy." In spite a great record, Department of Defense aerospace engineer Sedona Stewart is passed up for promotion to senior engineer again; this time the chosen one is dorky Bob Lewis. Irate as the good ole boy network has slapped her in the face, she vows to get that job. She soon learns that her agency uses the illegal rule of sexual prowess as the selection requirement. She plans to expose this illegal practice with a formal complaint, but first investigates a series of jet fighter crashes partnering with Navy pilot Angel Torres. They are attracted to one another, but stopping the sabotage comes first and stripping naked the sexual practices of her peers comes second or do they? This reprint of an entertaining military romantic thriller is at its best when the plot looks into sexual office practices that harm employees and cause morale issues.

About Flyboy: OMG!!! This has been one of the best romance books I have read!! I am in tears just writing this comment! Sedona and Angel' s story of trust and the love they have for each other was just touching. And the romantic encounters they had were hot, but with such feeling! I think everybody should have a love like this, this kind of love is real and unconditional.
A Kiss in the Dark was good too, but Flyboy has taken my breath away!!! Karen Foley words can not describe how great it was to read such a great story!! I just read the book again!!!!
