Of course, if you could choose, you would prefer to let go of the tightness, the *need* and the rush to have a baby. But there may be a subconscious part of you that believes that you need the stress, to make changes. That you need the stress to create change. And without it, you’d sit in bed with a bag of doritos and do nothing. Maybe you don’t yet believe that change can be created through things like joy, rest, slowness, pleasure and ease. Which like, if you haven’t created something from this place before and have only created from hustle, that makes fucking sense. But if hustle isn’t working, maybe the answer isn’t to hustle HARDER, but to try a fresh, new approach. And because you haven’t taken a gentler approach before, this requires a leap of faith. A willingness to try something new….I know you’ve tried A LOT on the fertility journey, but this particular kind of approach actually feels counter-intuitive at first. This is normal if it feels… odd. Gentleness, softness and slowness is not what we’re taught.
