The difficulties of life are either sent or permitted by God for their disciplinary value.

All of us need discipline; therefore, it should be embraced with humility and gratitude, rather than with resentment and bitterness.

We are not alone in this experience for all of God’s children must walk the pathway of discipline.

When we are disciplined, it is the surest possible evidence, not of God’s disinterest, but of HIs profound interest, concern, and love of us as members of His royal family.
