I felt led to start a series dedicated to discussing topics that are related to becoming the “helpmeet” mentioned in Genesis 1.
God’s original design for women was to help the man in his call as priest, king, and prophet. If we are honest, we would admit that we have not been living up to our responsibility as women.
I want to discuss certain areas that we all can improve on when it comes to taking our rightful place as co-rulers. As God shares knowledge and insight into my life as a single mother raising 2 sons, I want to be able to share that insight with you!
My prayer is that we can be the catalyst that help men to recognize the greatness that’s within them so they can step up and be the men we need.

December 12, 2022 The Fruit of Idolatry: Life Lessons from the Jaxn Divorce
With the most recent news of Derrick Jaxn and his wife’s divorce I wanted to share my thoughts on the issue of idolatry and how it affects the success of our relationships.
There are so many accounts of men and women who choose their relationship and spouse over God and His principles and His word is clear “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.” (Galatians 6:7)
God will never reward idolatry with the things we want (love, Joy, unity, faithfulness, etc). Those thing are only found in submission to His will.
Whatever or whoever we place on the throne of our hearts will result in ultimate disappointment and shame. However even in that God is gracious and willing to turn around our lives for the good if we will forsake our disobedience and submit to His will.

June 14, 2022 Freedom to Overcome Sin | Sunday's Message
My pastor preached an awesome message last Sunday on being an overcomer to sin so that we can TRULY walk in freedom and God’s abundance for our lives. I wanted to share his points and some thoughts on this topic because there are many of you who are tired of living a life of defeat but don’t know how to gain the victory you need.
The main passage he spoke from was John 8:31-36
31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
34 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
I go over the 3 Types of People we fall into and discuss the 3 Main ways we can be set free so we can walk in victory!
Freedom is ours! Deliverance is ours! Victory is ours! We just have to
NAME THE SIN!
REPENT FROM THE SIN!
RECEIVE GOD’S POWER AND AUTHORITY OVER SIN!
And we will experience the abundance Christ promised! Make that your life’s goal today! In Jesus name! Amen!

In this episode I share some personal struggles I was recently dealing with in waiting on God's timing for my spouse.
God spoke to my spirit about some of the reasons for the timing of our marital partner and I wanted to share 3 main ones in this podcast today. These may give you some insight into your wait and God’s heart in desiring to bless you with that right person. Those 3 factors can be summed up in

Call
Culture
I briefly dive into each of these categories and how they affect the timing of receiving our spouse.

Sometimes it feels as though God has forgotten you and people who live according to the patterns of this world are experiencing their "blessings" without having to do the inner work God requires of His children. However family, remember that all that glitters is not gold and everyone who is married is not HAPPILY married and like the scripture says, we want our marriage to “make us rich and add no sorrow!”
Trust God, His timing, and the process for He says in Psalm 37:4 that "if your delight yourself in The Lord, He will give you the desires of your heart."

April 22, 2022 Welcome to A Life of Joy: Where It All Starts!
I want to welcome you all to A Life of Joy. This has been a long time in the making but I am excited to bring you all on the my journey to walking in and living a life of passion, purpose, and potential. A life of Joy! I decided in this first episode to share where I believe it all starts in our journey of developing into the very best version of ourselves and that is in…the mind. The Bible says that “as a man thinks in his heart so is he.” I discuss the importance and power of thought and how it affects our direction in life be it professionally, personally, and relationally. I wanted to briefly share how God worked in my own personal life to build my walk of faith and the mental and spiritual chains we need to break in order to renew our thinking process if we want to live the life we’re created to live. Just as I am a work in progress, this podcast is a journey to that destination while at the same time finding joy in the journey.
