Music is a powerful way to communicate our emotions and our experiences and have chosen to make the Bible the soundtrack to our journeys through life. Route 66 Movement is a digital platform; a safe haven for the mind and spirit where we can share our stories and grow on our journeys in this life.

Cam Beeler chats to Levi about the importance of the work going on all around the world in the mission field. The mission hubs around the world are well-organized both in preaching and humanitarian work. They have a lot of good work that needs volunteers to come in and be a compliment to their mission. This is where White Fields workers can make a difference. Cam reflects on how his experiences overseas have transformed his faith and world view.

Helen converses with Jonny Pappas from Adelaide, Australia about the powerful effect food has had on his faith journey. Jonny shares how he has found joy in failure and success through his cooking, as well as developing stronger relationships with God and the Lord Jesus. Food is a way of connecting with people on a deeper level around the table.

Nolan chats to Levi about his experience as a father as he and his family have navigated their life during the Pandemic. As his family’s home life changed over the last year, Nolan reflects on how he has adapted and become more attuned to their emotional and spiritual needs. In doing so he contemplates spiritual lessons he and his wife have shared with their children to help build up their faith.

In this episode of A Little Faith, Steve talks to Rebekah Lewis from the U.K. about her experience and reflections on coping with isolation as a parent. She describes how the sudden change of becoming a parent can be a real shock to the system, not only socially but also spiritually. Rebekah shares some great insights to help parents and their spiritual community support each other better. This was recorded in December 2019. The podcast was inspired by some articles that Rebekah wrote for the CIL and we will be featuring them over the next three weeks on our blog.

In this episode Steve interviews Kezia Reed who works in Homeless Prevention Support. She ensures her organization engages with people before they lose their tenancies. They also run extreme weather shelters in Winter and Summer. Steve and Kezia talk about the practicality of supporting vulnerable people, teaching scripture, and why this type of outreach is so important.

Maggie and Helen reflect on the past year and share different ways they have connected with God in their daily lives. They discuss how these small moments have been more sustaining, and have created an opportunity to be more purposeful and to appreciate the way that God is working and moving in our lives every day. We don't always have an earthquake or a fire, sometimes just a still small voice.
