A St. Louis Cardinals fan whose favorite stadium is Wrigley Field. He probably helped service your Apple & snapped a photo of your kid in the parade then pulled on his headband, got behind the keys and along with his musical pals, made your Friday & Saturday nights epic.

He's truly been involved in huge musical movements in Galesburg over the past 4 decades either directly or indirectly. Dark Crystal, Thrillsville, & Neon Nova to name a few. And who could forget Linen Lion?

From days on the couch soaking up the hair metal/new wave musical prowess from MTV or discovering synth sounds at Gamble Music to sneaking a really big camera into Farm-Aid '85, the stories of rock n roll & photographs are endless. We are so blessed to be able to see & hear the art of Steve Davis.

They say never meet your heroes but when Terry Hodges asked his to throw him a drum stick as he waited patiently at the edge of the stage during Quiet Riot's set, it happened. Frankie Banali gave Terry a drum stick and was forever solidified the drumming hero in Terry's life.

Starting with 5 gallon buckets in the barn to stuffing his kit in the Trans Am and 30 plus years later in one of the area's most dynamic bands, Neon Nova. And for some reason this drummer showed up with a Bullethead, cigar box guitar. At 33:32 in the podcast, Terry shows why he brought it.

It's been quite an adventure so far for Terry, from stealing pizza from Firehouse, chicken alfredo with Lita Ford, meeting smelly Tommy Lee or playing live at the Mark Of The Quad Cities with his one time juggernaut band, Drophammer. This is the episode that almost wasn't. We invited singer songwriter Chris Carr to the podcast before but for whatever reason it didn't work out. So he finally comes to record our first episode in 13 months & it's riddled with crazy out of our control tech issues, & we almost scrapped it.

Erin Glasnovich performs under the name Sullivan’s Daughter, a nod to her mother maiden name & her middle name. On the stage since 7, performing is what Erin was born to do. Erin recently came to a life fork in the road, stopped, looked around and ran right back into the arts, using her greatest instrument, her voice. She sang her 1st single Honey Lips for us and gave us a little holiday gift too. Now, we hope you enjoy Erin’s voice too on episode 12 of A Little Off Track.

Episode 11 brings us musician and music teacher, Brad Shryack.

Brad used to call the local rock station and request guitar god rock instrumentals that rarely got played, like Steve Vai or Joe Satriani. This only proved he had great taste in music and it turns out he was a pretty talented six string shredder himself.  

Brad's been in bands, played big stages and practices like a mad man - which he passes on to young and old musicians learning guitar, as a teacher at the legendary Music Makers in Galesburg. We are proud to have Brad strum those strings on episode 11 of… A Little Off Track.

1972, Mick Jagger on the cover of Life magazine when Kent was 13. 1973, the access the photographers had to the cars at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Stones never called, but the access was earned.

Photographer Kent Kriegshauser is one of the best ever and has some great stories behind the shots. From Pittsfield & Chicago to the Beatles and the Who, he's seen a few things and taken some great shots along the way. We wouldn't want anyone else for episode 10 then the coolest and the sweetest, Kent Kriegshauser.
