Bible Reading: 1 Peter 1:3-9
Preacher: Pastor Jonathan Hoffman
Date: 5th April 2026
Big Question - What does the resurrection mean for us?
SERIES OVERVIEW
Across Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday, we’ll trace the story at the heart of our faith. From the anticipation of Jesus’ arrival, to the sacrifice of the cross, and finally to the victory of the empty tomb, each service will highlight a different aspect of the hope we have in Christ.
Our key verse for the week comes from 1 Peter 1:3, reminding us that in God’s great mercy, we have been given new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus. It’s a hope rooted in God’s mercy, secured by Jesus’ death, and proven through His resurrection.
Throughout the week, we’ll reflect on themes of praise, mercy, new life, and the sure promise of salvation.
