Marin County authorities continue to investigate a wildfire in the Marinwood community that burned 18 acres yesterday.

As encampment sweeps are being carried out in cities across California, the mayor of East Palo alto is announcing his plan to help those living on the streets.

Bay Street Emeryville’s newest tenant has just been announced. The 40 thousand square-foot property on the east side of the shopping complex’s plaza will be transformed into Tokyo Central, a Japan-based grocer and retailer.

UC Berkeley officials say the new dorm under construction can't open soon enough for the Cal community.
