A Lost Plot

The Fall Guy is an action comedy film that revolves around the main character, Colt Sievers, a former stuntman who gets pulled back into the industry to find a missing actor. The primary theme of the movie is the relationship between Colt and his ex-girlfriend, Jodie, and whether they will get back together. The movie explores the themes of honesty and facing one's fears. The side characters, such as Jodie and Colt's friend Dan, are well-developed and have their own motivations. The movie also celebrates the work of stunt doubles in the film industry. The story consistently puts the hero in worse situations, increasing tension throughout. In this conversation, Maverick and Avalon discuss the movie 'The Fall Guy'. They explore the plot, characters, themes, and overall satisfaction with the film. They touch on topics such as the romance plot, the stock nature of the B-plot, the character development of Colt Seavers, and the message of honesty. They also discuss potential changes they would make to the movie and the overall enjoyment of the film.
