For episode three, we will be spending some time talking with Jer Swigart about Patriarchy.

Patriarchy is a topic Jer has been confronting his whole life. This is something he is personally waging war against and striving to bring about a better way.

On this episode I want to focus on perception and how it relates to privilege. I want to use some of my own experiences as a stay-at-home father and my interactions with others to set the stage. We'll then spend some time focusing on these perceptions and how to begin to break them down. I also want to spend a bit of time on why it matters, for us and others, to deny ourselves unjustified privilege.
