In 1381, Wat, the Tyler, and the peasants he represented urged of the king of England that serfdom should be abolished, the right of all to market their goods publicly should be allowed, the price of good land should not be over four pennies an acre, and that all past offenses should be pardoned. Instead of presenting their requests in a respectful manner, they took to the streets of East Anglia, Kent, and London. Although their demands were certainly reasonable, their methods were not. Come along with Edgard Ormskirk as he helps put down the rebellion and save the lives of many in the process.

Great Reading
For any G. A. Henty fan. My boys loves reading his books! And you can't beat the fact that it is free, too!
It's just okay.
Was okay. It didn't quite fit on the bottom and so it bothered me. I took it off and am using a different cover. It might suffice for someone who isn't as an picky.
Wonderful Historical Account
GA Henty does a marvelous job in describing the times of King Richard's early reign and the resulting conflict. This tale of two young men who gain uncommon blessings by their valiant deeds is skillfully entwined with an accurate historical account that gives the reader a good, rounded feel and perspective on that era. A superb retelling. Drawn artistically, with perilous adventures, sparks of romance, and virtuous characters scattered throughout, A March on London will tug at your heartstrings and endear this time in history to you in a way like never before.
