Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion: (Jeremiah 3:14)Introduction: - As applying to Israel, then applying to Gospel days .I wish to testify to you 3 things:1/ That the relationship God has with his people, his church, is a marriage union .2/ That even though this is the case, God's people do backslide and are exhorted and encouraged to return to the Lord .3/ That there is a promise of further blessing and how it is brought about .This sermon was preached at Clifton Strict Baptist Chapel
