Marriage is a wonderful journey, but like all great journeys there are highs, lows, someone almost dies, many near misses and someone will say "what just happened?". Don't get married if you do not want to grow. Marriage will bring out all your secrets and force you to grow. Most newly weds will focus on developing their material and physical life and in the process neglect the development of their spiritual, mental and emotional life together. This process usually leads to division and feelings of regret and loneliness. To avoid this problem, learn to communicate with each other. Whatever you are deeply thinking about you will find that your spouse is probably thinking about also. Learn to grow together with good communication. I have observed that if a man is growing the woman will usually follow. If the woman is growing usually the man becomes frustrated or reveals the beta he has always been and then his wife will control him and try to control everyone else. To grow you must communicate what you want and follow through with those plans.

Your friends and family can only influence your choices in life they cannot make you do anything. The reasons for saying all of these things is to make a point about our listeners reality. If your life is going well then you should be full of confidence because those decisions got you here. You have had the ability to be great all along and you are proving it ever day. If your life is going bad, don't be upset. There is still time to change and you have plenty of great decisions ahead of you, but you must make them happen. Whatever the situation know that you are in control and only you can make the future better or worse. Have confidence in knowing that all the power is in your hands.

Before you can start this process with your children you must first break your addiction to technology otherwise you are a hypocrite and the child will think you are punishing them for being just like you. Don't be weak and stand up for your family.
1. Technology is a tool. Help your children understand that technology can be a great tool for work, learning and connecting. However it should not be for socializing and constantly escaping.
2. As a parent you should fear their future dependency on technology more than you enjoy the convenience it brings to your life. Children are losing their childhood quicker now than ever. When you allow a child access to the internet through phones and video games, you have lost the majority of your control what they will see and hear.
3. Spend time with your children and teach them social interaction. Our children need to see interaction with people as positive. A Childs cell phone should not be their only positive interaction with other people.

Not Everyone likes their parents. Some people find their parents to be a mystery. If you find yourself in this situation we have a few tips to help you relate to your parents better and start to rebuild or strengthen the relationship. Remember, just because they did not take the time to get to know you, it does not mean that you cannot take the time to get to know them. This could bring great healing for the family.
Tips to better connect with your parents:
1. Talk about family members. You both know them and it is an easy discussion point. Pay attention when they mention someone they like being around. There is something about that person that they admire and it could bring some inside about what is happening in your parents mind.
2. Ask question about your parents history. This will provide you with perspective that will help you understand where your parents come from and what they have experienced. Additionally they will notice you are interested in them and will eventually start asking you questions about your life. People love to talk about themselves, even your parents.
3. Find a medium of interest ( sports, cooking, entertainment, exercise, work, etc.). I had to do this to learn about and understand my father. This will be a good approach for men especially because we do not like to talk about our feelings and what is goin on in our heads. People are passionate about their hobbies and this will build trust through a passion of connection.
