"Let us march on until victory is won" - James Weldon Johnson

When you attend higher education the universities implication is that the campus becomes your home away from home, but what do you do when space is occupied so much that you are no longer able to live on your home away from home. This is the housing crisis due to the rising acceptance rates by universities that affects students not just here in Richmond, Virginia but across the entire nation.

They say knowledge is the key to all success and power but how to attain that knowledge is up to you. I welcome the idea that while college having the potential to be the best years of your life is not the end all be all to success. If you need a better example look a majority of the campus celebrity guests that do not have degrees to their name but have made monumental success off of persistence, determination, charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent.

Whether you are a member of the community, an ally, or willing to listen and open your eyes to new ideas. In this episode we discuss the LGBTQIA+ community and the current state in which we as a community are moving towards. To the newcomers, legends, icons, spectators, and all those that have paved the way for us thank you. The message is simple, love is the answer.

Fashion has changed, shaped, molded how we live our lives whether you like it or not.. Best spoken by Meryl Streep’s character Miranda Priestly in ‘The Devil Wears Prada’, “... And then it, uh, filtered down through the department stores and then trickled on down into some tragic Casual Corner where you, no doubt, fished it out of some clearance bin. However, that blue represents millions of dollars and countless jobs and it's sort of comical how you think that you've made a choice that exempts you from the fashion industry when, in fact, you're wearing the sweater that was selected for you by the people in this room from a pile of stuff."

When you work 4 years in undergraduate studies for a degree the goal is to get that piece of paper to secure a job afterwards, but in this economy it seems to have become harder and harder with the bar raising more and more. Gone are the days just getting a degree that will secure you a job and we are here to talk about the workplace from the corner office to the sales floor and everywhere in between. In the words of the legendary RuPaul Andre Charles “You Better Work!”
