In this episode, Dr. William Thomas shared his experience of coaching in the military and the lack of coaching in private sector. Dr Thomas and Daniel also conducted a mini coaching session on work life balance.
Dr William Thomas provides individual coaching and teaches group workshops to clients throughout Asia. He has more than two decades of leadership experience as an officer in the US Air Force, and served as a strategic planner in Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He holds a PhD in public policy, with a focus on organizational culture, as well as an MBA and a degree in economics. Having spent several years as a university professor, he is now a WCI Certified Professional Coach, and has been based in Singapore, Bangkok, and Manila. Outside of work, Dr Thomas is also a distance runner and is one of the few people in the world to have completed The Marathon Grand Slam, consisting of a marathon on all 7 continents and at the North Pole. He is the author of Cross The Lines: A Journey to Complete The Marathon Grand Slam.
