Sister Cari put together this minisode discussing the recent suicide of a 19-year-old woman at BYU. She talks about her own BYU experience, and how the culture (heavy on the cult) of the institution helped create the situation of her own suicide attempt at age 20. She also talks about how her experience writing for the 100 Hour Board (an online, formerly BYU-affiliated publication) led to contact with many, many desperate BYU students, each of whom thought they were alone. There’s a lot of sniffling. This is a heavy one.
