I like Barbara Samuel's books and have read several of them ...

This book was obviously written several years ago with references to VCR's. I like Barbara Samuel's books and have read several of them and will continue to read her books. This just wasn't one of my favorites. There isn't much story, other than two emotionally injured people going back and forth if they want to take a risk at a relationship.

Nice Read

Really enjoyed this sweet love story of a single mother who's busy taking care of her two boys while she runs a herbal store from her house. She gets along with her ex and has two wonderful friends. She's considered a fixer, but is she willing to put her heart out there again. Then she meets the handsome Professor Alexander Stone who's going along with life after his heart has been broken. Will they find love together.

A very sexy romance.

Esther is a struggling single mom who lives a full, but very fulfilling life with her two small boys. She and her ex have a congenial relationship, she has good friends, and an herbal shop she loves. She doesn't need to get involved with another man who will abandon her. Alexander is a handsome college professor who still loves and misses his deceased wife. They share a mutual interest in a history class and he encourages her to finish her nursing degree. The writing is captivating, as are all of Barbara Samuel-O'Neal's books. The story and dialog are not as developed as her later works, but the falling-in-love sexy romantic scenes are memorable.

Barbara Samuel (also writes as Ruth Wind) delivers another set of well-developed characters to whom I hate to say goodbye at the end of the book.
