Sometimes we feel the need to use fancy words or say the right things for our prayers to be heard and accepted by God but it is the exact opposite. It is the humble and honest prayer that God desires. Comparison is one of our greatest enemies! You know it's bad when we think we are approaching prayer with the right motives and intentions but whether we know it or not, our heart posture is completely off. Are you praying with the right motives? Are your prayers the true sentiments of your heart? If not, it's time to be real with God... with respect and reverence 🙌🏽

As we enter into a new year, there's some things we can't drag into the new, including our old mindset/mentality. Nothing can change until we choose to change the way we think... AND SEE! We live by faith and not by sight which is why when we walk by sight, we are deceived. In 2024, we can't allow our eyes to deceive us and violate the beautiful, amazing God we know. One way is by trusting that He knows what is best. Living that Proverbs 3:5-6 life, leaning not on our own foolish understanding and sight but trusting that He has it in the bag. 2023 was rough but 2024 is NEW ✨️ It's time to grow up ❤️
