Born October 12th, 1875 in Warwickshire, England, Edward Alexander Crowley would become one of the most controversial figures in the world. At an early age he rejected his family’s strict Christian upbringing and focused more on western esotericism joining a secret society and eventually founding his own religion. HE attempted some of the most dangerous rituals and eventually was alleged to contact an entity that some today believe was like an alien contact experiences or CE5. He was deported from countries and hired by others. HE denounced Great Britain and declared himself an Irishman. During the first World War he came to America and acted as an Irish Spy for the British Government. He died in 1947 and his beliefs continue to influence mysticism and occult teaching.
