On July 18, 2018, Kelsie Thomas was a 21 year old exhausted and overwhelmed wife and mother to two young children under the age of five. She was also caring for an ailing parent. That afternoon when she went to wake little Cloe from her nap, she found the little girl "accidentally" hanging from her pajama pants inside her closet.
