• Microsoft (MSFT) -
• A play on the continued trend toward generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Analysts at Morgan Stanley Wednesday morning said "The release of a new Bing powered by an OpenAI-based language model created a big marketing splash and cracked open the door for potential share gains in search. However, we see bigger (and higher probability) opportunities as the OpenAI functionality permeates through the MSFT portfolio."
• NVIDIA (NVDA) -
• Retail investors were in an uproar Tuesday afternoon following news of a $10 billion mixed securities shelf offering by NVIDIA. • Rivian (RIVN) -
• Shares were down 8% Wednesday following mixed quarterly results and 2023 vehicle production guidance which was "well below consensus delivery estimates," according to one analyst. Following the company results, analysts at Needham reinstated the stock with a Buy recommendation and said they liked Rivian management's confidence in "achieving positive gross margins in '24."
• Logitech (LOGI) -
• The company will host its Analyst and Investor Day on March 8 at 9 a.m. EST. Analysts at Morgan Stanley Wednesday morning said they believe the event will be a negative catalyst for the company's stock as the analysts believe Logitech management's guidance will disappoint investors.
• Mobiquity Technologies (MOBQ) -
• A play on news the company launched an AI engine for digital advertising. Shares of this penny-stock, low-float play were up 5% on the news.
