Redemption Bible Church continues its examination of the Book of Mark, a sermon series entitled "The Crown and the Cross." Pastor Jason Mayhall leads us through Mark 1:21-34 where we see Jesus sending demons into a panic and healing those who are sick. Through these actions Jesus is revealed to disrupt both the spiritual and physical world. Through His power we see how He has authority over us even though many of us approach Jesus from a place of wanting Him to come to us, to meet us on our terms. For us to truly see the benefits of Jesus' teaching, we must submit to His authority knowing that God is with us and will not leave us. We are called to follow Jesus and show compassion for those around us by meeting both the spiritual and physical needs. We also talk about Beyonce, negotiating with a 3-year old, and bad doctors.
