Lt: Pilki debesys kabojo dangaus skliaute, juodai balindami saulės spindulius.
En: Gray clouds hung in the sky, darkening the sun's rays.

Lt: Asta, Mantas ir Linas stovėjo pastato griuvėsių šešėlyje, tyrinėdami žemėlapį, kurį laikė prieblandos šviesoje.
En: Asta, Mantas, and Linas stood in the shadow of the building's ruins, studying a map they held in the dim light.

Lt: Jie jautė alkį ir troškulį, bet tvirtai nusprendė išgyventi.

Lt: „Bet kas, jei ten irgi ginkluoti? Gal neturime jokių šansų.“

Lt: „Geriau bandyti nei stovėti vietoje ir laukti bado mirties,“ įsitikinusi atsakė Asta.
