At the beginning of a brand-new year, we are asked a simple but powerful question: “Where are you?” It is not a question of shame or judgment, but an invitation to pause, reflect, and be honest. As we step into this new year, this moment becomes a chance to take inventory of our lives and gently acknowledge where we truly stand with God.

Most of us want growth. We want better faith, stronger families, and greater peace in our finances. But real progress always starts with honesty. When we admit where we are, without excuses or blame, we open the door for God to meet us there and lead us forward.

No matter what the previous year held, every season carried lessons meant to shape us. Successes remind us what works, and failures teach us what does not. Nothing is wasted when we are willing to learn.

Today is not the end of a story. It is the starting point. As we seek God’s plans and commit to growing in faith, family, and finances, we can move into this year with hope, clarity, and purpose.
