A new way to generate millions for Detroit could impact sports fans

The Citizens Research Council of Michigan says an admissions tax to games, concerts and some other events could bring in anywhere from 14 million to 47-million dollars. It would impact tickets sold for events at places like Comerica Park, Little Caesars Arena, Ford Field, Masonic Temple, Fox Theater and Fisher Theater.
