It's been two weeks since our hosts got together last, and they've all kind of switched roles around with Scrap doing a lot of moving over the holiday gaming was almost none existent for him. With Draco's surgery he's on light duty at work and has been reduced to a glorified Secretary, so his gaming time is way down, but that hasn't stopped him from getting in some Super Nintendo Retro gaming and plenty of Vain Glory in. Dub is the odd one this week with a bunch of titles that he picked up over Black Friday, including Inside and Slime Rancher.

In News we talk about impressive sales numbers for the two new Pokemon titles as well as Final Fantasy XV, Season 2 of Siege is on it's way, and is VR the big flop of the season?

With the holidays creeping ever closer, gaming has started to slow down a bit for Dub and Scrap. Dub is still working on improving his PvP game in the every changing Meta World of Destiny and Scrap has been taking some time to revisit some single player games that are in his back catalog as well as his love for all things Mass Effect. In our Hey Have You Heard News segment we chat about Hideo Kojima getting an award at the upcoming Game Awards show. 5 Ubisoft Execs that were involved in some shady deals. Our Main Topic of the week is about Retro gaming and some of our memories about consoles of days gone by.

We are nothing if not pridictable with Dub still very heavily into Destiny and Draco playing some Hero based game, whether that be Battleborn, Overwatch or Vain Glory and Scrap has been gaming like it's 2012 with lots of Mass Effect.

News was short with the big stories being the announcement of Mass Effect 2 and 3 being available through backwards compatability and a new Mass Effect Andromeda trailer, CD Projekt Red doing hostile take over drills, the release of the new Xbox Dashboard update and the announcement of the Overwatch League from Blizzcon 2016.

Speaking of the Overwatch League, that is what our main topic is all about, the rise of eSports and where we speculate that the OWL could possibly go and where we'd like to see eSports in general take gamers too.

We put a bow on things with some esports questions from the community about what we think publishers can do to make the esports scene more popular and how it can effect the gaming community, whether or not using Screen names is unprofessional or not, and whether Destiny will ever enter the esports scene. We also got a question about what retro gaming consoles we managed to hold on too and what our favorite couch co-op games are.
