Psalm 33

Let the godly sing for joy to the Lord; it is fitting for the pure to praise him. Praise the Lord with melodies on the lyre; make music for him on the ten-stringed harp. Sing a new song of praise to him; play skillfully on the harp, and sing with joy. For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything he does. He loves whatever is just and good; the unfailing love of the Lord fills the earth. The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born. He assigned the sea its boundaries and locked the oceans in vast reservoirs. Let the whole world fear the Lord, and let everyone stand in awe of him. 

For when he spoke, the world began! It appeared at his command. The Lord frustrates the plans of the nations and thwarts all their schemes. But the Lord’s plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken. What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance. The Lord looks down from heaven and sees the whole human race. From his throne he observes all who live on the earth. He made their hearts, so he understands everything they do.  The best-equipped army cannot save a king, nor is great strength enough to save a warrior. Don’t count on your warhorse to give you victory—for all its strength, it cannot save you. But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. He rescues them from death and keeps them alive in times of famine.

We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice,
for we trust in his holy name. Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone.

Sophia if you are listening to this podcast THANK YOU SO MUCH for this conference. I want to say that every single person that attended this conference needed this conference! 

I needed this conference because AFTER THIS THERE IS GLORY! 

This has been the most amazing conference I have attended. I was told back in 2018 when I attended a conference to go with high expectations. 

I was going with high expectations and also with questions that I needed God to answer. 

The Bible verse for this conference was Romans 8:18 

KJV: For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

New Living Translation: Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.

1. Draw to God like nothing before
2. Know the voice of God by spending time with God. 
3. Step into integrity if you have a business and make sure you own it! Get your LLC, Business account, treat it like a business
4. Helpers have their own motives (what can they get out of it) and servants want to help others with nothing in return. We all have to be servants at some point of our lives
5. Tiphani Montgomery said “there is a blessing not knowing how it has to be done”
6. Enemy goals is to make you insecure!
7. It's not warfare, it's your bad decisions! 
8. “Get ready for a new season” I literally felt this man of God lay hands on every person in the conference. What I got from this session was better start living right if you are going to serve God. 
9. John Eckhardt explained Psalm 118. He emphasized never put man before God, one of the things that he said that was so powerful was “your weeping has an expiration date!”

My ex and I are very amicable and co-parent our kids very well. God gets all the glory for that relationship. I know lots of parents can't say that but I am truly blessed. 

Side note: if you are keeping your children from seeing their father, you are wrong! You should repent and ask God to guide you to have a better relationship with your kids' father. 

People say they are divorce like it's another item on their To do list. It is more than that. 

1. Rollercoaster of emotions: happy, sad, upset, Ask myself why my marriage ended? Comparison kicks in
2. How to switch from husband and wife to co parents? Nobody really prepares you 
3. Time will heal all wounds

Perhaps as newly saved Christians we think we are going to have an easy walk. We turn our lives over to God and nothing will ever happen. 

Have you ever heard someone say...if your life was easy it's because the devil knew you were not a threat to him. Let that sink in for a minute and now that you are a Christian it seems like your life is upside down and things are falling apart.

We see all these examples in the Bible and yet we think we are supposed to have an easy walk with God and never be tested. 

We go through tests and then we must share our testimony with others. We talk about what we have gone through and what God Has done in our life. What God has taught us during the testing phase we're always learning and yet so many people want to question God. They want to question their faith and easily give up but the beautiful thing about going through a test is sharing your testimony.

One of the things that I noticed is that many people do not share their testimony. It can either be because God hasn't given them the okay to share it or simply because they're afraid to.
