• Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) - Shares were up 3% following an upgrade by an analyst at Piper Sandler. The analyst upgraded the stock to Overweight (the equivalent of a buy rating) and set a $140 price target.
• Caterpillar (CAT) - The company announced a $15 billion buyback plan and gave optimistic guidance ahead of Tuesday's Investor Day event. The webcast will begin at 11:25 a.m. EDT.
• Macy's (M) - The stock traded about 1-2% lower following an apparent "fat-finger" trade in the pre-market session. Shares traded to as low as $15 and then quickly rebounded. The Benzinga Pro newsdesk team did not see news to justify the move lower. It's likely the trade at $15 will be cancelled.
• Bilibili (BILI) - A sympathy play on US-traded China-based stocks following better-than-expected earnings out of JD.com (JD). JD shares traded up 8% in pre-market action.
• Idera Pharma (IDRA) - One of Tuesday morning's biggest winners. The company announced results from a trial for a melanoma treatment candidate led to enrollment being stopped early due to favorable efficacy. Shares were up about 53% in pre-market action.
