Today is a perfectly ordinary day just like yesterday was and just like tomorrow will be. Today is a day like any other day of this week, month, year. There is nothing remarkable about this day in 2025 or this day last year or this day 36 years ago. I have nothing to commemorate today; there is nothing that I am choosing not to forget.
